Film screening 'The Positive Ladies Soccer Club' - Sunday 27th May, time TBC, CHQ Building & George's Dock, Custom House Quay, Dublin 1

As part of the Africa Day Flagship Events, MSF will present the short documentary film 'The Positive Ladies Soccer Club'

Come along, meet some of MSF's Irish volunteers, and learn about our work in HIV and Aids projects around the world.

Film screening 'Living in Emergency' - Friday 25th May, 8pm Camden Palace Arts Hotel, 1 Camden Quay, Cork

MSF is delighted to host the first Cork screening of Living in Emergency.

This documentary presents the unglamorous, seldom seen side of aid workas four MSF doctors struggle to provide emergency medical care in the war zones of Liberia and Congo.

MSF Ireland staff will be available afterwards to answer questions and discuss both the film and MSF's ongoing work internationally.

MSF Information Evening - 10th May, 6.30pm Triskel Arts Centre, Tobin Street, Cork 

All are welcome to attend the MSF Information Evening in Cork.

Two of our volunteers, anaesthetist Dr. Mark Campbell and laboratory sceintist Barrie Rooney will talk about their recent experiences on mission with MSF in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and in central Africa respectively.

A photo exhibition will also be on display.

Photo Exhibition - 16-27th January, Concourse, County Hall, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council

 MSF is delighted to be participating in a photo exhibition to celebrate the launch of the Council's new Integration Strategy and Action Plan "The Future is Ours."

"Working in a War Zone" NUI Galway Friend of MSF Launch - 16th November, 7.30pm, Clinical Science Institute, Galway

Galway native Dr. John Morris recently returned from Chad and Jane-Ann McKenna, Head of MSF Ireland will talk about their experiences in the field with MSF.

DCU Nursing Careers Fair - 16th November, 2-5pm, Dublin

Come along to our stand on the ground floor of the Nursing School and talk to us about working with MSF as a nurse.  See how we do rapid screeening for malnutrition and sample some ready-to-eat-therapeutic food!

ICHAMS Conference - 5th November, 2.30pm, Dublin

MSF staff and returned volunteers will present a screening of 'Living in Emergency' to students attending the inaugural International Healthcare and Medical Students conference.

University of Limerick Medical Society - 5th October, Limerick

Dr. John Morris, recently returned from working with MSF in Chad shared his experiences with students at the University of Limerick.

Harvest Service - 28th September, 8pm, Wexford

An MSF representative gave a talk about MSF and our work in Somalia at Killinick Parish Harvest Service.

European Year of Volunteering Roadshow - 25th August, 11am-4pm, EC House, Dawson Street, Dublin.

If you are interested in volunteering with MSF, either in our office in Dublin or overseas, or simply want to find out more about our medical humanitarian work,  join us at the European Year of Volunteering Roadshow when it arrives in Dublin.
