Why should I fundraise for MSF?

- Raise Money
More and more people are choosing to raise money for MSF. Some are taking up a personal challenge such as running their first marathon or climbing a mountain. Other people are organising concerts, jumble sales or collections amongst friends. Fundraising can be a great way to have a good time while supporting MSF.

- Raise Awareness
By inviting your friends to sponsor you or attend your event, you could not only raise vital funds for our projects overseas but also help to increase awareness of MSF’s work and some of the world’s most neglected crises. Anything that you can do to advertise our work to your friends, family and colleagues is greatly appreciated.

How can I fundraise?

Taking up a challenge or running an event takes a bit of organising, but we’ve put together a Fundraising Guide to help you along the way!
- MyCharity.ie
Setting up a “MyCharity” fundraising page is a great way to easily collect funds for your fundraising event. To set up a page you visit www.mycharity.ie/charity/msf and follow the instructions (contact us if you have any questions!). Once your page is set up, people can then donate directly to MSF through your page using a laser or credit card in a safe and secure way.

How can MSF help you fundraise?

- Supplies and Speakers
We have MSF materials that can help you with your fundraising including MSF t-shirts, collection buckets, and newsletters. Our staff would be happy to try and facilitate a speaker at your event. To organise this contact gareth [dot] shaw [at] dublin [dot] msf [dot] org.
- Advice and Support
We don’t organise events ourselves but are always available to help with advice on your fundraiser. If there are any questions that aren’t covered in the Fundraising Guide, send us an email or give us a call!
