Dr. Nobuko Kurosaki, President of MSF Japan and a member of the first assessment team to fly to the quake-afftected areas of northeastern Japan describes what she saw on the ground, and what the survivors' needs are.
Dr. Nobuko Kurosaki (left) is a paediatric surgeon, and has served on missions with MSF in Sri Lanka, Iraq, Indonesia, Liberia, Nigeria and Somalia. She was elected President of MSF Japan in March 2010.
