There are rare positions available as an administrative logistician, ensuring that a project has the staff and supplies it needs, when it needs them. You could be responsible for the purchase and transport of drugs and equipment (locally or internationally); planning for expected future needs and monitoring stock levels; ensuring that the project functions within budget; and training and managing the team of locally employed staff. With the techinical logistician and the project coordinator, you will probably have frequent interaction with local authorities and organisations and will be involved in the implementation of security protocols.
In some cases, the positions of technical logistician and administrative logistician are combined as all round logistician.
