IMPORTANT TAX INFORMATION*

*Don’t worry, it’s good news

MSF staff provide expert medical care in some of the most challenging of circumstances, from Afghanistan to Gaza, from South Sudan to Yemen, all thanks to your generosity.

This is all possible thanks to the generosity of supporters like you.

As if that wasn’t enough good news, we can make your donation go further.

If you have donated* to MSF in the last four years, we can make your donations go up to 45% further by claiming tax relief on them.

Charities can claim back on charitable donations made by all taxpayers (PAYE and self-assessed).

We can claim tax relief on annual donations of €250 or more. The tax relief we claim on your donations will go towards our unrestricted Emergency Fund which ensures we can respond quickly to emergencies around the world.

* This does not apply to money raised through fundraising events or companies.

What to do

If you donated €250 or more annually to MSF, we will be able to claim up to 45% tax back from Revenue. So a €250 donation would now be worth €362!

All you have to do for us to claim this tax relief is fill out a form and return it to us. We will automatically send you the correct form at the beginning of the year.

Digital Tax Certificate

You can now complete a secure Tax Certificate digitally by clicking the link below. Here you can fill in your details, sign the form using your mouse or phone, and submit through our safe online portal.

Postal Tax Certificate

You can easily download your postal tax certificate from one of the links below.

  • The CHY3 form allows us to claim tax relief on your donations for the next five years. So, if we’re lucky enough to have your ongoing support, we can continue to make your donations go further.
  • The CHY4 is a once-off annual tax rebate form, so it allows us to claim tax relief on your donations for one year.

Signing either of these forms will not result in any further cost to you, it simply means that we can generate even more funds to help our patients by claiming tax relief on donations you already made.

You can return the completed form to us for free at:
