Tax efficient giving

IMPORTANT TAX INFORMATION*

*Don’t worry, it’s good news

In 2023, MSF’s medical humanitarian work spanned over 70 countries and included responses to disease outbreaks, natural disasters, healthcare gaps and – devastatingly – war.

From the disastrous earthquakes in Syria and Türkiye to the brutal conflict in Gaza, MSF’s emergency medical teams on the ground provide surgical, emergency, and basic health care to those who need it most.

Life-saving medical care takes many forms around the world. Whether treating malaria patients in remote communities in South Sudan, tuberculosis patients in Manila, or pregnant women in rural Sierra Leone – the scale of support that our teams have provided for people is enormous.

This was all possible thanks to the generosity of supporters like you.

This was all possible thanks to the generosity of supporters like you.

As if that wasn’t enough good news, we can make your donation go further.

If you have donated* to MSF in the last four years, we can make your donations go up to 45% further by claiming tax relief on them.

Charities can claim back on charitable donations made by all taxpayers (PAYE and self-assessed).

We can claim tax relief on annual donations of €250 or more. The tax relief we claim on your donations will go towards our unrestricted Emergency Fund which ensures we can respond quickly to emergencies around the world.

What to do

If you donated €250 or more annually to MSF, we will be able to claim up to 45% tax back from Revenue. So a €250 donation would now be worth €362!
