Have you donated to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders (MSF) in the last four years? By simply signing a tax form, your donation can go even further as we can claim tax back from the the Revenue Commissioners.
2013-2015 - Budget 2013 introduced some significant changes to the tax relief on charitable donations.
The changes listed below apply to all annual donations of €250 or more made to charities from 1st January 2013.
- Charities can now claim tax back on charitable donations made by all tax payers, not just PAYE tax payers
- Self-assessed tax payers will no longer be able to claim tax back themselves on their charitable donations. Instead the charity can claim this.
- A new rate of 31% will be applied to all donations over €250. Thus a €250 donation attracts a tax rebate of €112, increasing the value of your donation by 45 per cent.
2012, 2011, 2010 - If your annual donations to Médecins Sans Frontières reached €250 or more and you paid income tax through the PAYE system, then we will be able to claim tax back from the the Revenue Commissioners.
This is a straightforward and simple process, which allows your donation to go even further and for us to get the most out of your gift. If applicable for the year 2013, we would strongly encourage you to complete and return a CHY3
(a five year enduring tax rebate declaration) or CHY4 (a once-off annual tax rebate declaration) form to Médecins Sans Frontières.
For the previous years, you need to fill up a CHY2 revenue form.
We will send you a tax rebate revenue form or you can easily download one from the links below. Please, complete the form and return it to our office at:

9-11 Upper Baggot Street
