In the boat on the right, a MSF mobile clinic team composed of Dr. Mustafa Alajeeli, Mut - Nurse, Maturich - Pharmacy Manager, Lam - Registrar, Kuang Pilot and Rigoberto Lelyo - Nurse, go down the Phow River (or Bahr El Zaraf, giraffe in Arabic), a tributary of the White Nile, 100 km south of the city of Malakal. The trip will take two hours to the village of Diehl. In the second boat, to the left, staff in the foreground are the pharmacist Ahmed Ramadan and nurse Julie Malcolm Wyzyloski, heading to New Fangak. Local workers unload supplies from an MSF plane on the small airstrip of Old Fangak, which can be impassable during the rainy season. The town of Old Fangak is located along the Phow River (Zaraf, giraffe in Arabic), a tributary of the White Nile, in Jonglei State, 100 km south of Malakal. It is only accessible by boat or small plane. Sur le petit aérodrome de Old Fangak, en bout de piste, une langue de terre impraticable durant la saison des pluies, des hommes déchargent le cargo d’une petit avion de MSF. La ville de Old Fangak se situe le long de la rivière Phow (Zaraf, girafe en arabe), un affluent du Nil blanc, dans l'État de Jonglei, à 100 km au sud de Malakal. Pas de routes. Seulement accessible par bateau ou petit avion.

A MSF team settled on a square in the village of Diehl for the weekly visit of the mobile clinic on the banks of the White Nile. Every Monday they come to Diehl after a two-hour fast boat trip from Old Fangak a town further south. At the table on the left are Dr. Mustafa Alajeeli and a translator assistant. At the table in the background are the drug dispenser. Around them, patients wait, sitting on the floor or on mats. Une équipe de MSF s’est installée sur une place du village de Diehl pour la visite hebdomadaire de la clinique mobile, sur les bords du Nil Blanc. Chaque Lundi, elle vient jusqu’à Diehl après un voyage de deux heures en bateau rapide depuis la ville de Old Fangak, plus au Sud. A la table de gauche est installé le Docteur Mustafa Alajeeli avec un assistant traducteur. La table en arrière plan est celle de l’assistant pharmacien. En arc de cercle, des patients attendent, assis à même le sol ou sur des nattes.
