About our resources

We are an emergency medical organisation working in over 70 countries around the world. We provide emergency medical care in countries affected by war, natural disasters or outbreaks of disease.

Working with teachers, we have developed a series of multimedia teaching and learning materials.

These resources have been carefully matched to awarding body specifications and have been informed by a detailed review of Examiners' Reports.

You can also get your school involved in fundraising whilst learning about MSF's vital work

50 years of MSF: 1971-2021

To celebrate MSF's 50th anniversary, we have developed an interactive resource to take secondary students through dramatic moments in MSF's history. It contains key information, videos and exercises for use in the classroom or for individual study, as well as an answer booklet to the questions posed. There are exercises for students covering a number of disciplines, including Biology, Citizenship, Geography, History and PSHE. Use the viewer below or download the pdf

The primary school of Bidibidi. This school was built at the time of the influx of refugees during the previous civil war in Southern Sudan. Despite the fact that it can accommodate many children, the falling ceiling of certain classes prevents them from being able to use them. Courts are therefore outside, in the shade of the trees.

Malgré le fait qu’elle peut accueillir de nombreux enfants, le plafond qui s'écroule de certaines classes empêche de pouvoir les utiliser. Des cours se font donc dehors, à l'ombre des arbres.

Request a speaker

Would you like someone from MSF to come and speak at your school?

Zakky has worked with MSF since 2012, originally from Blue Nile State he and his family have lived in Doro camp for almost six years. Fighting pushed Zakky and his family away from their home and into South Sudan, the attacks were terrible with one particularly bad one using bombs. Zakky is now a logistics assistant in the Doro camp.
