Join us in Dublin on November 5 for an in-person discussion with two Palestinian MSF doctors who lived through the last two years of genocidal war in Gaza.

After two years of genocidal war, Gaza is not just a humanitarian catastrophe - it is the systematic destruction of a people.

According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health (MoH), more than 66,000 people have been killed, including over 20,000 children. The toll is likely far higher, with many more thought to be trapped under the rubble.

Even though health facilities have a protected status, hospitals have been bombed and medical facilities have been raided, endangering the lives of staff and patients. Today, no hospital in Gaza is fully functional. Those that remain partially operational are overwhelmed and severely lacking in lifesaving supplies.

MSF teams continue to offer medical assistance including surgical support, wound care, physiotherapy, malnutrition care, maternity and paediatric care, general healthcare and more in deeply challenging conditions. However, Israel’s blockade on Gaza has left hospitals without sufficient supplies, despite the massive scale up of services and assistance that is needed.

Join us in Dublin on November 5 to hear the experiences of two MSF doctors who lived and worked through the war in Gaza before being recently evacuated to Ireland.

  • Dr. Mohammed Abu Mughaiseeb, former Deputy Medical Coordinator for MSF in Gaza.
