Dublin Event – Delivering hope in South Sudan

Please join Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) to hear first-hand from a recently returned MSF Doctor about the acute medical and humanitarian situation in South Sudan.

Years of protracted conflict have destroyed people’s ability to meet their basic needs. The violence has displaced millions to ever more remote areas, drastically reduced their access to healthcare.

MSF runs the maternity and paediatric department at Aweil Hospital, the only hospital in an area home to 1.4 million people. The department is a place where mothers and children are cared for in a safe space in one of the most dangerous countries in the world to give birth and raise a child.

MSF Doctor Mark Sherlock will speak about his time as Medical Director of the maternity & paediatric department at Aweil Hospital in South Sudan.

Thursday, 15 November at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
Please RSVP by November 12th via the link below, by calling 01 660 3337 or via
